Shadows On The Wall

The double shadow on the wall was caused by a combination of direct sunlight flooding through a window and light bouncing off a dining table in front of the chair. I didn’t notice when taking the shot that only five of the six radial slats in the chair back are visible in the shadows. The missing slat appears to be in the shade of a window mullion, which would explain it’s absence. But if that’s true why is the hooped back visible where it passes through the shade of the mullion? Very odd.
